Bundgaard shoes for children

Bundgaard shoes are among the most popular Bundgaard children’s shoes in Denmark. Since 1904, the Danish brand has been designing shoes for children with a focus on comfortable fits, flexibility and materials that allow little feet to move naturally during play and everyday activities.

At House of Kids, you will find a wide selection of Bundgaard shoes for children for every season. For little ones taking their first steps, Bundgaard first walkers are an excellent choice. These first shoes are designed for a child’s first steps, with soft materials and flexible soles that support their motor development.

For warm days, Bundgaard sandals are a popular choice because they allow air to circulate around the feet while providing good support. When temperatures drop, Bundgaard winter boots help keep little feet warm and dry. On rainy days, Bundgaard wellies are a practical choice for nursery, school and outdoor play.

Many parents also choose Bundgaard barefoot first walkers because they give children a more natural foot position. Bundgaard barefoot styles are designed with a wide toe box, a flat sole and high flexibility, allowing the foot to move almost as it would when walking barefoot. You will also find Bundgaard barefoot wellies, which combine flexibility with protection from rain and mud.

A guide to choosing the right size

When choosing Bundgaard shoes, it is important to measure your child’s feet correctly and select the right size with enough growing room.

How to measure your child’s foot

  • Place your child’s heel firmly against a wall.
  • Mark a line in front of the longest toe.
  • Measure the distance from the wall to the line in millimetres.
  • Use the measurement from the longer foot.

How much growing room should there be?

  • For Bundgaard first walkers and Bundgaard wellies, approximately 10–12 mm of growing room is recommended.
  • For other styles, such as Bundgaard sandals, trainers and Bundgaard winter boots, approximately 12–15 mm of growing room is recommended.

Children’s feet grow quickly, so it is a good idea to check their size regularly. Young children should have their feet measured approximately once a month, while older children can usually be measured every two to three months.

At House of Kids, we have carefully selected the best Bundgaard children’s shoes, making it easy to find sandals, boots, wellies and flexible Bundgaard barefoot shoes for active children.

Size Guide
